I tested your EasyFrameOnline system the other day and was amazed at how easy and fast it was. The entire time I was playing with it, I encountered no problems.
Today, I uploaded an image for a customer and it views fine in the "Project Photo" sections. However, when I start a new package, it shows a blurry JPG icon in the frame instead of the image, as it had several days before. Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong now.
Other than this (hopefully) brief problem, I am enjoying the system. Thanks!
Hello Jennie. Thank you for posting. I had not replied because I was looking into this issue and you're right, there seems to be a bug for Mac users when uploading larger files. The bug does not appear all of the time but will affect some of your images sometimes.
We have contacted Aurigma, Inc. and they are currently working on a patch to fix the bug. They should have one ready within the next few weeks. For now, it seems that some users are having success by reducing the image's size and then uploading it. You may want to try this to see if it works for you.
We will be sure to contact you when we know that the bug is fixed. Meanwhile, please feel free to contact us with any more concerns/issues. Thank you for your comments.
During a test of the system, I was able to post reviews as a customer to the various frames I had created. When I logged back as the photographer, it immediately showed the reviews on my dashboard.
Since then, I've had two different customers using the system state that they've left reviews. They are not showing up on my dashboard, nor when I log into their accounts using their username and password. I don't know if the system has stopped collecting this information, or if they're simply not clicking the "Add Review" button when they're done.
Either way, this is a major flaw that needs to be fixed. I am not getting vital information from my clients. One of the clients checked the approval box for one of her frames. The only way I knew this was because she contacted me days later to pay for the frame and ask when it would be delivered. This made me look incredibly bad, as I had no idea she had even selected a frame or which one she selected. I had to get the information from her again.
If the review functions are not working correctly now, this obviously needs to be fixed. Also, you need to include more instruction on the review side of the page clearly stating that people need to click the "Add Review" button when they're finished. Finally, it would be wise to include an error dialogue box that will appear if they try to navigate away from the page after typing in a review and not clicking this button.
I created an EFO order this morning with no problems. However, now when I create an new package, I cannot see my uploaded portraits or any frame samples.
When I select update photo, I receive a URL error message. Incorrect URL or service not available.
Hello Jennie. As far as your concern goes, I believe you are right when you say that your customers probably did not click on the 'Add Review' button. We've been testing it under different cirucumstances and the system seems to be working fine.
We have spoken to the developers and we might do a couple of things to prevent customers from navigating away from the page BEFORE clicking on the button. The first is to make the button more visible and the second is to set up an error message, as you implied, notifiying customers trying to navigate away from the window that they have not yet clicked on the 'Add Review' button. This should let them know that they must click on the button if they want to actually submit the review.
Meanwhile, we would definitely urge you to let your customers know that it is important that they complete the process when reviewing their packages.
I hope this information helps. We will be notifying all customers of this and all other updates via email. Thanks for writing!
Hello D Hall. As far as your first concern goes, you can only see the photos you've uploaded when creating a new package if you are working under the same project. You need to upload photos for every new project you begin.
As far as you second concern goes, I believe the problems you are encountering may be specific to your computer or browser. The system seems to be working fine for all other users. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with your contact information so I could help you solve this problem. I may be reached at 800-578-7252, ext. 206. Thank you very much.
I am in the process of doing different projects and I would like to see my wholesale price as well as the retail price given the percentage increase I have put in my profile. However I still get just one prices (one in parentheses and one without).I tried this option because I originally had it to post only the retail price but when I would go to my order to view my wholesale price, the price I was being charged was not any lower and was the same as the retail price. I now believe that for the some of the past orders I placed, I was incorrectly charged the retail price? I hardly made any profit on this frames (ave. $50 dollars) because the price I paid was pretty high!

This site needs to be foolproof.
